Meet Lisa
A barn, a flyer,
and 38 years of taste
Lisa Metcalfe spent decades inside the fashion industry, beginning in production at Calvin Klein in the 1980s and going on to advise fashion businesses for the better part of four decades. When she and her husband settled full-time in the Hudson Valley, she brought four decades of closets, contacts, and an unteachable eye with her.
In August 2023, Lisa cleared out her barn — thirty-eight years of accumulated treasures — and rented a small space in Rhinebeck for a weekend. Her college-aged daughter designed a 90's-themed flyer. The racks were borrowed. The crowd that showed up didn't expect much, and left talking about it for weeks — old-school Barney's warehouse sale energy, in the middle of Dutchess County.
What began as a clear-out became a calling. Loyal shoppers turned into consignors. The pop-ups turned into a permanent home at 6822 Route 9. Today Lisa still pops up only when she's curated something worth the trip — because after a lifetime in fashion, she's certain this is where it's heading: beautiful, well-loved pieces, given a second chapter, by someone who knows exactly what she's looking at.
